Tax Refunds for PAYE taxpayers

Have you overpaid your tax in 2010 or in previous years?

Are you currently claiming all your allowances and reliefs in 2011?

We will review all previous tax years back to 2007.

The answers to the following questions will ascertain if you have overpaid your PAYE:

Have you claimed in all years, the maximum amount of mortgage interest relief?
Are you now getting mortgage interest relief at source from your Bank or Building Society?
Have you claimed in all years, the maximum amount of pension contributions that you have paid?
Are you now paying the correct amount of pension contribution to give you maximum tax relief?
Have you claimed all medical expenses since 2007?
Have you claimed all dental expenses since 2007?
Have you claimed all nursing home expenses paid on behalf of a relative since 2007?
Have you claimed all third level fees and training course fees paid on your behalf or on behalf of a dependant since 2007?
Has your husband or your wife been working since 2007, if so have you been getting the benefit of the double income tax bands?

These are just a sample of the areas that might give rise to a tax refund. A more complete and comprehensive list will be gone through when we start to review your particular circumstances.

Our Fees

We will carry out an initial review of all tax years back to 2007. There will be no charge for this review.

Following the review, we will discuss with you the likely tax refund, if any, and our costs to proceed to a full submission to the Inspector of Taxes in order to claim that refund.
