Tax Exemption for Start-Up Companies        Useful Resources: Key Tax Planning Dates for 2010 Tax Planning Tips for 2010                               IMPORTANT TAX DATES FOR MARCH 2010        March          14th PAYE/PRSI Payment of PAYE/PRSI deductions for February 2010. 14th Dividend Withholding Tax Due date for payment and filing of returns of withholding tax on dividends paid by companies in February 2010. 19th VAT Payment of January/February 2010 VAT liability and filing of related VAT return. 21st Corporation Tax Company year end 30th April 2010: Preliminary tax due, minimum 90% of total liability for the year. Small companies can pay 100% of previous year’s liability. If this is paid using ROS the payment date is extended to 23rd March 2010. Company year end 30th June 2009: Payment of balance of corporation tax and filing of corporation tax return. If this is filed using ROS, this date is extended to 23rd March 2010. 28th Company Secretarial Filing of Annual Returns dated 28th February 2010. 31st Corporation Tax Company year end 30th September 2008: Close companies with undistributed profits may have to make a distribution by this date to avoid surcharge. Company year end 30th June 2009: Filing of ‘Return of third party information’ (Form 46G). 31st Company Secretarial Filing of Annual Returns dated 28th February 2010. 31st Income Tax Return of Share Options and other rights for 2009. Deadline for claiming Separate Assessment for 2010.
