Tax Exemption for Start-Up Companies        Useful Resources: Key Tax Planning Dates for 2012 Tax Planning Tips for 2012                               IMPORTANT TAX DATES FOR JANUARY 2012                          14th Income Tax Payment of PAYE/PRSI deductions for December 2011. 14th Dividend Withholding Tax Due date for payment and filing of returns of withholding tax on dividends paid by companies in December 2011. 14th PSWT F30 monthly return and payment for December 2011. 14th RCT RCT 30 monthly return and payment for December 2011. 19th VAT Filing of Intrastat return for November/December 2011. 21st Corporation Tax Company year end 28th February 2012: Preliminary tax due, minimum 90% of total liability for the year. Small companies can pay 100% of previous year’s liability. Company year end 30th April 2011: Payment of balance of corporation tax and filing of corporation tax return. If this is paid by ROS, the payment date is extended to 23rd January 2012. 28th Company Secretarial Filing of Annual Returns dated 31st December 2011. 31st Corporation Tax Company year end 31st July 2010: Close companies with undistributed profits may have to make a distribution by this date to avoid surcharge.
