Tax Exemption for Start-Up Companies        Useful Resources: Key Tax Planning Dates for 2012 Tax Planning Tips for 2012                               IMPORTANT TAX DATES FOR DECEMBER 2011                          14th Income Tax Payment of PAYE/PRSI deductions for November 2011. 14th Dividend Withholding Tax Due date for payment and filing of returns of withholding tax on dividends paid by companies in November 2011. 15th Capital Gains Tax Payment due on disposals made between 1st January 2011 and 30th November 2011. 21st Corporation Tax Company year end 31st January 2012: Preliminary tax due, minimum 90% of total liability for the year. Small companies can pay 100% of previous year’s liability. Company year end 31st March 2011: Payment of balance of corporation tax and filing of corporation tax return. If this is paid by ROS, the payment date is extended to 23rd December 2011. 28th Company Secretarial Filing of Annual Returns dated 30th November 2011. 31st Corporation Tax Company year end 30th June 2010: Close companies with undistributed profits may have to make a distribution by this date to avoid surcharge.
